If I were a fuzzy-wuzzy bear--
The Vermont Teddy Bear Factory was a hit for Makana. GiGi was excited to discover that Makana enjoyed playing with all her teddies. When we took the tour of the factory, we discovered that the eyes of the bears that are made in Vermont have "Born in Vermont" written around the pupils. Makana hugged as many of the furry friends as she could. She also saw her own Fifi (Yes, she named her bear!) being hand-sewn. Although she wanted to purchase clothes for her bear, we decided to go to a thrift store and buy a newborn denim overall dress for Fifi (which was much more economical). Fifi survived the plane trip back to Arizona and is adjusting to the climate. :)

Hey, I love your photos..they are really nice...
Glad to hear that FiFi is adjusting to the Arizona climate. :) These pictures are just darling!
Well, I wish I got to go! But thank you for my bear. Hmmm...the card envelope didn't say Happy Birthday, so Koen helped me to open it. He likes to carry the bear around. I'll have to get him some clothes too.
Thanks for the positive comments. Makana did have a really good time there, and it was almost as though she instinctively had to hug every bear she came across. As you can see, she especially took to the enormous one and hugged every limb and nook and cranny of it. :)
